LAS VEGAS AND THE RAT PACK
Matt’s hometown of Las Vegas was an oasis of cool, back when Frank, Sammy, and Dean were playing the strip every night! Even Matt’s mother, jazz singer Mavis Rivers, was part of the fun back in the day! This show captures the magic of that era by honoring the music and lyrics of the time. What happened in Vegas, will happen on your stage!

 It has been said that these two long-playing albums by the boys from Liverpool were actually THE most influential recordings of the 60’s. Sergeant Pepper got the press, but before Pepper were these two incredible ground-breaking albums. Here are both recordings presented live Top-To-Bottom with full orchestra

A Tribute To The Music Of Frank Sinatra. Frank personally signed Matt’s mother Mavis Rivers to his Reprise Records label and Matt shares his personal recollections and musical memories from the greatest singer of his generation. Featuring Matt's very own arrangements of classic Sinatra Standards.

As the founder of the Hawaii Pops, and a native of the islands, Matt presents his heartfelt musical tribute that captures the beauty and spirit of America’s own paradise by presenting some of the best music from Hawaii, past and present. Add a local Halau (Hula Troupe) for an even more authentic experience.

THE GERSHWIN CENTURY
GERSHWIN 100, Matt's acclaimed Concord Records CD is the inspiration for this celebration of America's greatest popular composer. Matt conducts, sings, and plays in this program featuring orchestral classics, great standards, and some very special newly discovered material unique to Matt's show, such as Your Eyes, Your Smile, a never before recorded Gershwin Instrumental, and Home Blues - newly discovered Ira Gershwin Lyrics set to the famous blues melody from An American In Paris.

THE SONGS OF BOND…JAMES BOND, featuring Sheena Easton
A show that combines some of the most memorable hits from the James Bond Films, as well as "Bond-Inspired" music from the past 50 years. Inclusion of  solo Bond film artist Sheena Easton, is an available option that rounds out the program nicely.

The music of the great big bands, past, present and future. Lifelong Big Band leader, with 10 big band CD releases to his credit, Matt digs into his vast knowledge of the genre, presenting an evening of entertaining music and stories.
